Where we began

Knaresborough Voice began life as Knaresborough Voice Alliance (KVA) in response to the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic.  We wanted to build on what worked well during that time of crisis.  We were also conscious of the impending local government reorganisation which would see the former Harrogate Borough Council abolished and greater ambition for towns like Knaresborough to have a louder voice in the new North Yorkshire Unitary Council.
